The Asset Group is a collection of Australian organisations united by a shared commitment to quality, integrity, and community. Founded by Mark Costello, the Asset Group brings together expertise across education, training, community development, and responsible recreational sport.

Mark Costello

Mark Costello is the founder of the Asset Group and Managing Director of Asset College. A recognised leader in Australia's vocational education and training sector, Mark has dedicated his career to the belief that skilled, knowledgeable people are the foundation of every successful organisation and community.

Mark entered the VET sector in 2004 and founded Asset Training Australia in 2006, building it into one of Australia's most respected registered training organisations. His credentials reflect the breadth of his experience: a Master of Business Administration, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) status with ASIS International, and Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (F.ISRM).

His leadership philosophy is rooted in integrity, continuous improvement, and a genuine commitment to the people the Asset Group serves — shaping every organisation within the group.
